Back from successful 5th Japan tour
Skylark would like to thank all the Japanese fans for the incredibile and amazing affection they keep on showing everytime the band hits Japan.
Despite the lack of support by the major media, the 5th Japan tour was successful only becuase of this strong, incredible and genuine support.
From Tokyo to Osaka, passing by Nagoya (first Skylark appeareance in this city) Japanese fans never let the band down as they have been doing for 16 years.
Skylark is still the best Italian Rock and Metal band in the Far East area by number of people who have attended live gigs, a supremacy lasting from 2003.
The band wants to reserve a special mention to Rubicon Music in the person of its A&R Mr. Takuro Imazu and Mr. Nobu at Gravity Rock Bar whose contribution to this 5th live tour was fundamental.

Mastered At Sterling Sound by George Marino it features old classic hits completely re-recorded plus two brand new songs.
Metal Master David Defeis (Virgin Steele) appears on song “Symbol of Freedom”.
More editions (just self titled "SKYLARK") will be announced soon.

SKYLARK AT THE TOP OF JAPANESE CHARTS AGAIN
At the same time of their 4th succesful Japanese tour, Skylark DVD "Divine Gates part 4-The live Gate" has been ranked for more than one month in the HMV top 50 Rock and POP Chart touching peak position number 4 (Number 2 in Heavy metal section only behind the newest Iron Maiden). Skylark DVD has also reached the number 1 in the Rock and Pop Daily Chart.
The band thanks one more time all their Japanese fans for the costant support and affection.
"Divine Gates part 4-The live Gate" will be printed in USA via Renaissance Records/Koch the next 11th of August.
SKYLARK & DAVID DEFEIS
Skylark is proud to announce that Virgin Steele singer and mastermind David Defeis will appear on the next Skylark album, singing the song "Symbol of Freedom".
It's a great honor for Skylark to have such a wonderful artist that has been part of the creation of Heavy Metal.
David has already recorded his parts, making a personal and original vocal arrangement that will lead Skylark music in a new dimension.
DVD RELEASE WITH JAPAN TOUR 2009
Skylark is back with a new DVD, thier first one ever, containing the entire concert recorded last May in Phoenix-Arizona (USA). The album will be printed in the middle of March in Europe via Underground Symphony, at the end of April in Usa via Renaissance Records and on the 1st of May in Japan via Soundholic.
Skylark have also planned their fourth Japanese Tour schedule at the beginning of next May together with the DVD release.
